General Facts About the 23nd Annual National and World Paper Money Convention

NWPMC Event Site
The National and World Paper Money Convention will be held in suburban St. Louis, Missouri, At the St. Charles Convention Center, One Convention Center Plaza, St. Charles, MO 63303. Host hotel for the event is the Embassy Suites Hotel St. Louis - St. Charles, Two Convention Center Plaza. The Crowne Plaza is directly connected to the convention center, so that event attendees can enjoy the safety and convenience of transiting from their hotel room to the Convention Center without going outside.   Auction lot viewing will open on Wednesday, October 15 and bourse activities get underway on Thursday, October 16 with the 9AM-12Noon Professional Preview. Event Description
The National and World Paper Money Convention is one of the leading events in the United States serving the interests of paper money collectors and dealers. It features a major auction of paper money rarities cataloged and conducted by Lyn F. Knight Currency Auctions of Overland Park Kansas, a 60 booth bourse area with leading dealers in the field from no less than 21 states, as well as club meetings and educational programs.

Participating Booth Holders

Bourse Area Hours
The 55-booth bourse area, a central feature of the National and World Paper Money Convention, will operate during the following hours:

Wednesday, October 15      2 pm - 6 pm     (Booth Holders Only)
Thursday, October 16         9 am - Noon     (Professional Preview - $50 Registration)
Thursday, October 16         Noon - 6 pm     (Booth Holders at 9 am)
Friday, October 17             10 am - 6 pm    (Booth Holders at 9 am)
Saturday, October 18          10 am - 6 pm    (Booth Holders at 9 am)
Sunday, October 19            6 am - 10 am     (Booth Holders Only)

There is a $50 registration fee to participate in the Thursday Professional Preview Day, which  is open to both members of the trade and collectors.  Payment of the special $50 registration fee  also grants admission privileges during booth holder only hours for the balance of the event. Admission to the bourse area during public hours is complimentary Thursday through Saturday.

The Embassy Suites St.  Louis - St. Charles is headquarters hotel for the NWPMC.

Allied Collecting Event
The National and World Paper Money Convention is held in association with the Silver Dollar Rare Coin Expo, a 150+ booth coin event held in the St. Charles Convention Center over the same dates as the National and World Paper Money Convention. The public days of the convention are Thursday through Saturday. In each year the special Professional Preview opens from 9 am - 12 noon on Thursday, immediately prior to the public 12 noon - 6 pm public hours that day.
