PCDA AWARDS

The John Hickman
National Bank Note Exhibit Award
Instituted in 1996, this award is given for the exhibit of National Currency judged the best at each year's International Paper Money Show in Memphis, Tennessee held during June.
The award is sponsored by PCDA, and is named after John Hickman, the hobby's foremost researcher of United States National Bank Notes. He enthusiastically shared his vast store of knowledge and data with anyone who expressed the desire, and he was personally responsible for the interest in Nationals sparked in countless collectors. His literal passion for the study of National Currency has inspired others to carry on the work he began.
